Refund and Returns Policy

At BuyUniversal.lk, we are committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

Returns

  • Items can be returned within 14 days from the date of delivery.
  • To initiate a return, the item must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
  • Certain products, such as perishable goods, customized items, or digital products, may not be eligible for returns.
  • Customers must provide proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).

Refunds

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7  business days.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error (incorrect or defective item).

Exchanges

  • If you receive a defective or damaged item, we offer replacements for the same product.
  • Customers must notify us within 3 days of receiving the item and provide clear images of the issue.

Exceptions & Dispute Resolution

  • If a refund request does not meet our policy criteria, it may be denied.

  • Disputes will be handled in accordance with Sri Lankan consumer protection laws.
